Description of the project
The INDUSTRYLAB III Industrial Innovation Accelerator project is implemented as part of Measure 2.28 Startup Booster Poland, under Priority Axis II Environment for Innovation of the Operational Programme European Funds for Modern Economy 2021-2027.
PROJECT OBJECTIVE
The objective of the programme is to identify, develop and validate in near-real conditions and commercialise innovative product, service or process solutions that are a response to the identified needs of project partners, proposed by start-ups (grantees). The solutions will be in line with the thematic sections of the The National Smart Specialisations:
KIS 7. Closed loop economy.
KIS 10. information, communication and geo-information technologies.
TARGET GROUP
Micro or small enterprises operating in the form of a capital company for no longer than 5 years from the date of application to the programme, not affiliated with an accelerator i.e. DGA S.A. and/or a technology recipient.
WHAT IS THE PROJECT ABOUT?
The project enables the development of innovative product, service or process solutions within five available acceleration paths:
- industry-specific with a business or public partner (B2B/B2A),
- with a Venture Capital fund,
- ‘Poland Prize’ (exclusively for startups from outside Poland),
- ‘Go Global’ (in cooperation with a foreign partner),
- sector-agnostic (without a business partner).
The programme will provide start-ups with individually tailored financial support (a grant of up to PLN 400,000.00), as well as personnel, technical and technological support of the involved project partners, whose desired goal will be the implementation and/or commercialisation of their project.
The programme lasts until at least 31 December 2026 and consists of five acceleration rounds lasting between 3 and 6 months each. The acceleration period is followed by a post-acceleration period in which the Start-up actively participates in order to provide the accelerator with the necessary ongoing information, evaluation and monitoring activities, as well as those aimed at commercialisation.
At least 40 grantees will be qualified for the accelerator programme, of which at least 12 start-ups will complete participation in the project within the main industry paths.
PROJECT EFFECTS AND RESULTS
Thanks to the programme developed by DGA, young companies will have the opportunity to use the resources of project partners necessary to develop and test their own solutions for further commercialisation. The solutions of the participants of the acceleration programme will fit into the thematic sections of The National Smart Specialisation. The programme will graduate 40 start-ups from all over Poland and abroad.
